Week 10 at the new Shipstone’s Beer Company

I can’t believe we are already into August! This has been another productive week where we moved all the stock into a new warehouse in Basford, delivered a further 224 cases into Hyperama and hit the ITV news with a brilliant feature slot. This followed on from making front-page news (again!) in last Friday’s Nottingham Post following the launch event.

After all of the hard work that went into the event, it has been great to be able to get back out there this week and talk about Shipstone’s again. I nearly didn’t do the launch event, but then I realised wanted to thank all the people who have helped get me here. It was also an absolute pleasure to share a bottle or two with some former employee’s of James Shipstone’s & Sons, plus Patrick Davies the great great great grandson of the founder James Shipstone’s came and gave the families blessing.

We have delivered into two new stockists, Local Not Global Deli in Beeston and The Lacehouse bar in the city centre, so more and more retailers getting on board to support local beer is great. Colin and Mick Dudley another James Shipstone’s & Sons brewer have started working on finding the ingredients for the next stage in the Shipstone’s relaunch, something we are excited to announce very soon!
